Situated at the western end of the Latrobe Regional Hospital precinct in Traralgon; the Cancer Care Centre is a purposefully designed facility providing access to state-of-the-art treatment technology, enabling Gippsland cancer patients to receive the best possible treatment while remaining close to their home, family and friends.

Vincent Chrisp were engaged by LRH to undertake a $22 million major expansion of the Cancer Care Centre, completed in 2014 and resulting in expanded Chemotherapy services [24 chair+bed] and Radiotherapy service [2 linear accelerator bunkers with provision for a third] operated in partnership with Alfred Health.

The new build also includes oncology consulting & treatment units [13 rooms], telemedicine examination plus adjoining pharmacy cytotoxic manufacturing sterile suite. The two-storey development additionally included a 12 chair Renal Dialysis Unit plus hospital administration facilities and medical records storage.
